Plans must be prepared in a complete and accurate fashion in order to PASS the critiques of the official’s PLAN CHECK REVIEW PROCESS and this requires exhibiting a road map (so to speak) for where officials can find the information that they are seeking.

 

 

The form below has been developed in order to allow you to help us gather the necessary information. The information that is being requested on the form below is either required by the Building Dept. Officials who are responsible for the PLAN CHECK REVIEW or is required in making sure that everything to be considered on the design has been considered.

Not all of the forty (40) categories fields will apply to all projects so, just skip the fields that do not pertain.

The information that we are seeking is most relevant for helping us to understand what will need to be described on plan and prepare for the PLAN CHECK REVIEW by Officials at the local Building Dept. We are seeking answers to your property and project’s layout specifics that are most often in need of explanation in order to submit plans.
Upon confirmation of the completed FORM, we will provide you with our response according to the urgency of your time-frame being requested either by telephone or email.

THE BUILDING DEPT.S REGULATION REQUIRES THAT THE PLAN SHOW WHERE THE SAFETY BARRIER WILL BE LOCATED TOGETHER WITH THE GATES. THE GATES MUST SWING OUTWARD AND BE SELF LATCHING. ADDITIONALLY, DOORS AND WINDOWS ON THE HOME MUST ALSO BE SHOWN ON PLAN AND IF THEY HAVE “GLASS” AND ARE WITHIN 5′-0″ OF THE POOL THE “GLASS MUST BE MADE OF TEMPERED GLASS.
34.) PATIO SPECIAL FEATURE
INDICATE IF ANY OF THESE FEATURES ARE TO BE CONSIDERED AS PART OF AN OVERALL MASTER PLAN APPROACH TO THE DESIGN.
35.) IN-GROUND SPA (SEATING POSITION)
THE SEATING POSITIONS INDICATE THE PLACEMENT FOR THE SPA JETS. BY INDICATING THE NUMBER OF SEATING POSITIONS IT ALSO HELPS TO DETERMINE THE OVERALL INSIDE DIMENSIONS FOR THE SPA.
36.) JETS PER SEAT
INDICATE THE NUMBER OF JETS TO BE LOCATED PER SEATING POSITION. TYPICALLY THERE ARE THREE (3) MANIFOLDED “BACK JETS” THAT CAN HAVE TWO (2) ON THE UPPER BACK AND ONE (1) ON THE LOWER OR THIS CONFIGURATION CAN BE INVERTED TO ALLOW FOR TWO (2) ON THE UPPER AND ONE (1) ON THE LOWER BACK. THE OTHER JET OPTIONS ARE ‘CALF JET” AND “FOOT JET” PLACEMENTS.
