PRELIMINARY POOL SECTION LAYOUT 6-6-23

POOL DEPTHS LAYOUT
The Pool depths are believed to be from -3’6″ at the shallow end to -6′-6″ at the deep end (located in the center of the pool). Additionally, there are two (2) Cabo Shelf area that will have a +/- -18″ water depth which will relate to a mid-tile water level depth of +/- -12″ water depth (all water depths are measured from the +/- 0″ top of concrete deck elevation). The entry steps on both ends of the pool descend in equal 9″ increments (-9″,-18″,-27″,-36″, 45″)

NOTE #1: Some adjustments have been made to the positioning of the wall returns (improved surface flow in conjunction with the surface skimmers) lines and two floor returns were added in the likelihood that a heater will be utilized. The floor returns can be removed from the plan if there will not be a heater.

NOTE #2: The pool cleaner suction line was relocated on the opposite side of the pool as where it was indicated would have posed an issue with being able to remove it from time to time during the swimming activity (inaccessible from the pool’s edge at the 12″ RBB).

NOTE #3: The pool’s concrete decking area has not been well defined on your sketch that was provided. I have assumed that there will be decking around the entire pool and therefore I have indicted a “Slotted Drain” for all of the area adjacent to the pool deck. Therefore the concrete decking surface is to be sloped away from the home’s foundation and away from the edge of the pool and intersect at an inverted elevation about -2″ lower than the starting elevation at each edge. This will allow water to migrate toward the center and be carried out via a 4.00″ pipe to be installed below the deck. The deck’s slope is equal to 1/4″ per foot fall toward the center. If something differs from this approach please markup the preliminary plan showing me the limits of the intended concrete deck that would be reflecting otherwise.

NOTE #4: The REVISED pool section provided indicates an 12″ Raised Bond Beam (RBB) that tapers at both ends down to a 6″ Raised Bond Beam (RBB). This RBB will also have two (2) 3′-0″ wide sheer descent waterfalls at 10″ a height. These devices WILL NOW also have LED lighting, please indicate your desires for lighting these features.
